The young striker has had an impressive goal scoring record in recent years at youth level and made his debut for Aberdeen in August 2009, playing against Czech Republic opponents Sigma Olomouc in the Europa League. In April 2010, he joined Scottish Second Division club Arbroath on loan until the end of the season, scoring 3 goals in five games. He has won six caps and has scored three goals for the Scotland Under-17 national team. Mitch is now a member of the first-team squad having progressed from the under 19's at the end of the 2010/11 season.
