What The Papers Say
The Scotsman
SPL Fanzone: Aberdeen
Gritty and ugly were perhaps two of the kinder words used by those present to describe our performance on Saturday, but we'll never say no to three points.
It seems we've had a productive January with experience in the form of Russell Anderson, Gavin Rae and Stephen Hughes coming in, Daniel Uchechi hopefully providing the elusive creative spark, and Mark Reynolds throwing some genuine quality into the mix. New contracts for Isaac Osbourne, Scott Vernon and Andrew Considine also mean we've got a spine for the long-term.
There is the disappointment of losing Kari Arnason but the mutterings of discontent might just be turning into reasonably positive noises, for once.

NIGERIAN ACE PLEDGES TO KICK-START CAREER AT ABERDEEN
ABERDEEN new boy Danny Uchechi has experienced it all in his short career - from being called the next Carlo Tevez to nearly walking away from the game.
The Nigerian youth international has moved to Pittodrie on loan from Nigerian club Dender, although the Dons have the option to sign him on a two-year-contract if he impresses before the summer.
Uchechi said: "At that time, I took what Alan Pardew said about Carlos Tevez as a motivation. For a manager like him to say that to me excited me.
"I was very happy about the comparison and made me want to play again and progress. His prediction hasn't been realised yet but I believe in the talent that God has given to me.
"It was an inspiration to me at a very tough time and I will keep working hard to make it happen."

'Fyvie won't leave Aberdeen FC on the cheap'
Craig Brown's warning over midfielder
ABERDEEN FC boss Craig Brown today warned potential buyers they will have to dig deep if they wish to sign Fraser Fyvie.
Brown admitted they may have to sell the 18-year-old in the summer after Fyvie rejected a new contract offer.
It is understood the teenager has already made it known he is keen to follow former Aberdeen FC team-mate Jack Grimmer, now with Fulham, to England. They have the same agent.
