He Bangs the Drum
Aberdeen FC has been running a free week long music course during the October holidays as part of the SPL Music Box project.
Sessions have taken place at Pittodrie Stadium since Monday and will continue for the rest of this week.
The teenagers have been trying their hand at a range of instruments including guitar, drums, bass, vocals, keyboards, DJing and MC.
The budding musicians have also been filling the corridors of pittodrie with group performances and recordings, today with a cover of Bob Dylan's 'Knocking on Heavens Door'.
The group were then treated to a surprise visit from AFC's very own music maestro Rory Fallon. Rory gave the youngsters a little taster of his own musical talents before giving the guys a helping hand at developing their own musical ability.
AFC music box is ran in partnership with Aberdeen Foyer - Music. To find out more about Aberdeen Foyer visit www.aberdeenfoyer.com/music
Following on from the October holiday programme, Music Box will also take on a weekly basis. Sessions will run on Tuesday evenings during the school term at Pittodrie as of 15th November.
