AFC Trust
Pittodrie had a visit from representatives of the AFC Trust on Tuesday afternoon to discuss many aspects of Club business. In a fairly informal and open meeting lasting about two and a half hours, the agenda took us through topics ranging from team performance, through finances to the new stadium and the question of terraces for standing. The Trust was represented by Bill Ellis, Jennifer Moffat and Gordon Duncan whilst new director Ian Jack, Chris Gavin and Dave Macdermid were there for the club and Duncan Fraser joined the meeting later on.
Ian Jack said: "There is a strong and growing bond between the club and AFC Trust which is very helpful as we seek to find better ways of doing things. As an independent group, the Trust can come in and raise constructive yet telling questions and issues from a supporters' point of view and it helps greatly to hear that different take from a group that is dedicated to the wellbeing and success of their football club."
